ARCHITECTURAL PLANTS – TUESDAY 17TH JUNE, 7.30 pm

 

An opportunity to visit this interesting and well known local business. The proprietor, Angus White has kindly agreed to give a talk, and light refreshments will be available. Numbers are limited so please contact Janie McClean on 891525 to reserve your place.

 

STOOLBALL at COWFOLD PLAYING FIELD, STARTS 19TH JUNE

 

Matches will start at 7 pm. Players are invited to contact Fiona Davies on 891761 and supporters are most welcome. Post-mortems will follow in the appropriate bar!

RAM ROAST – SATURDAY 28TH JUNE at 7pm

 

This year’s Summer Event will be at MAPLEHURST FARM and part of the proceeds will be donated to St Andrew’s School Extension Building Fund. Tickets are limited and only available in advance from Fiona Davies on 891761 or Derek Bradnum on 891181. There will be a Licensed Bar, Music and Raffle. Food will be served from 7.30 pm. Ticket prices are a bargain at £7.50 for adults and £3.00 for 12 year olds and under. Non-member’s ticket prices are £8.50 and £4.00 respectively. For all children aged 3 and under, admission is free! (RAM ROAST POSTER)

 

FUN DOG SHOW at CONIES FARM – SUNDAY 13TH JULY, 12.30 pm

 

Bring a picnic lunch, bring a pooch and have an afternoon of fun. For the dogs there will be novelty classes, agility rounds and more, whilst for the humans, tea and cakes will be available later Further details from Jenni Herret on 864466 or Janie McClean on 891525

 

LATE SUMMER WALK – SUNDAY 24th AUGUST, 4.30 pm

 

Reviving the old tradition, Jonathan Simons and Penny Bullen have agreed to organise this walk, starting at The Black Horse. It will also end there with the opportunity to enjoy an optional meal for the walkers, and indeed, for the non-walkers. Further details from Penny Bullen on 891313 or Derek Bradnum on 891181.

 

SMALL PET SHOW – SEPTEMBER, DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED

 

We are hoping to stage a repeat of this very popular event for children and their small pets, at Copsale Hall. Watch this space!
